Patient Care Coordinator Job Responsibilities:
Scheduling New Patients
Collecting Patient Payments at time of visit
Answering phones and routing when needed
Scheduling patient follow ups appointments
Making reminder calls and sending texts
Calling Doctors’ offices to collect patient documents
Getting Patient Authorizations
Ensuring Patient related paperwork is complete
Communicating any issues that arise
Occasionally help with modality set ups (hot / cold packs / electric stem)
Entering data in the EMR*, Google Drive, Excel, Word and other programs
Communicating with billing liaison on patient insurances / PT benefits
Communicating with the Aides and Therapists on any patient related topics
Other miscellaneous tasks related to help our patients and the team
*EMR – Electronic Medical Records system
